Improve the ride and performance of your
C5 Corvette?

Upgrading your exhaust?
If you are changing or upgrading your exhaust, now is the time to install one of our Tunnel Reinforcement Plates.

As you know, General Motors has done a fantastic job engineering the C5.  It has
received the SAE award for Best
Engineered Car of the 20th Century.
However, even the Chevrolet Corvette could use a little improving!

> Since the first C5 rolled off the assembly line in 1997 it was built with an insufficient chassis stiffener (known as GM’s tunnel reinforcement)
as shown in the picture on the right.

Made of thin sheet metal, weighing approx.
6 lbs, this original OEM part allows
too much chassis flex.

> We have re-engineered the undercarriage plate with strength and performance in mind.
Our CAD designed and computer precision cut 300 series stainless steel stiffening plate
has been proven to reduce the flex in the chassis and significantly improve the overall
functionality of the C5 suspension.
