Which one of

......It
really
depends on
your driving
style. If
your vette
is a daily
driver and
you don't do
a lot of
Road-Racing
or
Auto-cross,
we feel our
1/4"
Aluminum
Tunnel Plate
with the
"Thermal-Abs"
is the best
choice.
It offers
improved
stiffness
over your
stock plate
along with a
substantial
amount of
heat
shielding
qualities.
This is our
"Best
Seller".
......However,
if you do a
lot of
Autocross,
the stiffest
plate we
sell is our
3/8" thick
aluminum
plate. But
this may be
a little
overkill for
the daily
driver.

are 36 (6mm)
bolts that
hold the
Tunnel Plate
in place.
How tight?
What is the
torque value
for the
Tunnel Plate
bolts?
......Tighten
all 36 (6mm)
bolts to 89
inch-pounds
or about 7.5
ft-lbs of
torque.
Do I need to
install
longer "new"
bolts?
......No,
you will
reuse the
stock OEM
bolts.
Whether you
are
installing
our 1/4"
thick
aluminum
plate or our
3/8" thick
plate, your
stock bolts
have plenty
of thread
length left
after the
plates are
installed.
Can I
purchase the
"Thermal-Abs"
Overlay only
(not the
tunnel
plate)?
