Installing Elite Engineering's Aluminum Dead Pedal
on a
C6 without mounting screws.

Summary

Congratulations on your purchase.  Below you will find detailed instructions on how to correctly install your Aluminum Dead Pedal.  If you have any questions during the install, don’t hesitate to give us a call.

Your aluminum Dead Pedal will be installed on top of the existing plastic housing and held in place with (3) strips of industrial strength double-sided tape.  This
3M tape is the exact same tape General Motors uses to attach emblems, molding, and some body panels.  We have tested this installation over and over and the tape does a very good of adhering.  With that said, we cannot emulate all environmental conditions.  If you ever have a problem with adhesion, please don't hesitate to contact us.

The installation is very simple!

Recommended Tools:
- Elite Engineering Aluminum Dead Pedal without holes
-
Denatured Alcohol

Locate and Wipe the top of the Dead Pedal housing with Denatured Alcohol.  Note: Denatured alcohol is not the same as rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol.  For best results, it is
recommended to use only denatured alcohol.

Carefully position and securely stick the Aluminum Dead Pedal to your plastic housing.  It's that simple!
