Purpose of your Stock PCV System:
The PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system is designed to regulate and remove fumes from the engine crankcase, and to alleviate crankcase pressure which could cause oil leaks or seal damage. The PCV system routes crankcase fumes into the intake manifold where they can be burned to eliminate harmful emissions into the atmosphere. The PCV valve controls the amount of crankcase flow volume depending on the engine's load. With large throttle openings (high engine loads), the more blow-by gases are produced, and the more the PCV system flows oil vapor in to the intake manifold. A small amount of that ignited mixture leaks past the piston rings and ends up in the crakcase. This leakage is often reffered to a "blow-by" or leakage past the pistons. Some of the oil mist and other products settle along the engine intake and over time form a "gunk". Our oil catch can collects the oil mist and condensed the fuel vapors while allowing "cleaner" gasses to pass back into the intake manifold.
Negative Effects of your Stock PCV System:
Many Corvette, Camaro, Firebird and GTO owners can testify to the amount of oil residue that can accumulate inside the intake manifold, throttle body, intake track and even the air filter during aggressive driving conditions.
There are various negative effects when excess oil vapor contaminates the intake system from the stock PCV system - such as:

Elite Engineering's PCV Oil Catch Can has a unique 3-chamber design to effectively separate oil from the crankcase vapors, thereby eliminating all negative effects of excessive intake system oil contamination. Oil vapor from the crankcase enters the 1st - Inlet/Filtration chamber where it is slowed down and caught in the stainless steel mesh, it then moves onto the 2nd - Transition/Diffusion chamber. The Diffusion chamber has a very specific set of holes to remove the oil and only let clean air vapor pass. Lastly, the vapor passes into the 3rd - Exit Chamber before it exits the Catch Can.
You also have the option of choosing the number of Exit Ports your Catch Can will have. Most applications will only require (1) one 1/4" Female NPT Exit Port, but you can choose to have (2) two 1/4" Female NPT Exit Ports for Forced Induction set-ups.
Not all Catch Cans are created equally! Often imitated, never duplicated. Most Catch Cans on the market are just comprised of an empty container with 2 ports. While that simple design may trap a few oil droplets, our Catch Can is designed to condense the oil vapor and trap the oil inside the container.
Our test proven design incorporates a stainless steel mesh and screening mechanism that acts like a maze to collect and condense the oil vapor. Once the oil vapors condense into liquid droplets, it falls to the bottom of the can. In addition, the top assembly is specially designed to keep any liquid from climbing out the exit hole during aggressive driving conditions. Stored oil volume is approximately 11 ounces. The E2 PCV Oil Catch Can is constructed of the finest materials inside and out. Our exclusive design incorporates optimum function and the finest materials, construction and finish for maximum dependability.
Machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, and then anodized in a variety of colors for a striking look. The internal condensing/filteration screen is stainless steel encased inside an aluminum alloy housing designed for low flow restriction. The housing can be disassembled for screen inspection, cleaning or replacement if needed. The inlet and outlet hose fittings are brass, and threaded into the body and sealed with Teflon tape. Supplied hoses are fuel and oil vapor compatible (SAE 30R7 rated). The bottom catch can reservoir screws onto the top of the unit, and is sealed with a built in O-ring. Inspection and cleaning is easy by simply removing the bottom of the unit without disturbing the mounting system or hoses.
In keeping with our high quality standards, all supplied mounting hardware and screws are stainless steel. The supplied custom machined mounting bracket is black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, and is attached to your specific vehicle with the hardware supplied.
Each Catch Can kit includes everything you need to install the system. Basic mechanical skills and common hand tools are the only things required.

The can looks great in the truck. It was delivered in a few days with the standard shipping. My only complaints are the way undersized o-rings that it came with. When I pulled the can apart the pre-installed oring was broken. When I found the replacement o-rings I realized why, they're about 4 sizes too small. Also the clean side separator only comes with the required parts for installing on the factory intake tube, which made it a little tricky installing on my airade MIT. Gonna have to buy some things to make it a cleaner install. I just wish there was an option for an aftermarket intake tube.

Everything I needed was in the kit. I warmed up the rubber hose in the sun so everything went together easily. Something everyone should install early when driving a GDI engine.

Installed on my 2016 5.3 silverado. Glad I had youtube to show me which hoses run where because there was no instructions. I got the e2 single exit can with the CSS. Everything fits tight and they even gave me extra hose as is. The first time checking how much oil was in the can after 500 miles I was very shocked at how much it collected. I was also shocked that I broke the o ring on my first time taking it off. One spare is included and hopefully I don’t break out. Overall good product

This fit perfectly and came with all the bolts, hoses, o rings, clamps, everything I needed to install it. Fit perfectly and works amazing.

Great product. Had the original can on my TBSS and now the E2 can on Vette. The E2 replaced the mighty mouse vented unit that was on the car when i got it. The vented can was blowing oil all over the engine, header, and starter. Car would smoke and looked horrible. Immediately solved my issues. Just wish the mount fit the Z06 better. Its cramped on the passenger head side.

Installed this on my 2015 Corvette Stingray wet sump LT1. Followed the instructional video on how to set up the fittings and it all went together great. The black anodizing looks good in the engine bay. The can is not in the way of anything whatsoever, only downside is you have to unbolt it from the car to drain the oil. Definitely catches a good amount of oil too.

This is my 3rd E2 can. I have 1 on my truck and 1 on my Camaro along with my SS. Great quality and finish. The machining is second to none.

I have the original on my LS1 Trans Am. I always knew those motors had horrible PCV systems.
I put the E2 on my 2018 Sierra, trying to keep junl out of the motor as early as possible. I wish I had remembered this and did it day 1.
I ran some Seafoam through to clean up any residual oil (the best I could) and installed the catch can. It was simple, I installed it right at the washer resevoir. They also sent the GM style quick disconnects for the manifold side, which made it a piece of cake.
Thanks for all the support over email. I am glad I purchased this larger can and didn’t spend extra money on stuff I didn’t need. That is great customer service!

While I think this product is made very well and like the way it looks I recieved zero instructions for installation and couldn't even find videos about it on your website. Would have been helpful just to see a diagram or video for reassurance.
